His batting average against is .135. Stats can sometimes be misleading but c’mon. How dominant do you want him to be?You are welcome to look them up, but he gave up back to back hits (single and home run against TTU). In addition, he then walked a batter in the next inning. Yes, he has good stuff and gets a lot of strikeouts, but he has not proven to be as dominant as some believe.
Bringing football into the mix too.
IMO, he needs to locate his fastball better. His slider is essentially unhittable. If he were as all around dominant as some think, he would be stringing together longer outings. I'm not saying he is not capable, because he clearly is, but he is not there yet.His batting average against is .135. Stats can sometimes be misleading but c’mon. How dominant do you want him to be?
It's kind of a bad look on FA and TV part. Sign stealing is part of the game, as long as it's not being done illegally with electronics there really isn't ground to stand on.that can't be, we had half a thread saying it was because the batter stepped out of the box and a strike wasn't called........then debated if that was the correct call or not.
agree however from CFA's perspective, a player got hurt due to knowing the pitch. Don't blame anyone and I see both sides, lesson learned, hide your signs better. Like 66 and others have eluded, it gave our staff an opportunity to create some "fire" for the guys. It's kind of a bad look on FA and TV part. Thats why I'm not totally convinced it wasnt planned. And yes it did lead to a guy being injured but it's really hard to control a ball being hit and getting it to go exactly where you want, I would say the injuries are more just bad luck than anything.agree however from CFA's perspective, a player got hurt due to knowing the pitch. At the end of the day, move on. It’s baseball. Love the fire from our coaches and taking up for the boys. Next time don’t chest bump Blue, even if he looks and acts like a total chode. This. Right. Here. Also, their hitter stepped out of the box so the stolen sign could be relayed, and he would know what pitch was coming. Likely wouldnt have happened if Umpires would have requested Bohannon to remain in coaches box after CFA‘s initial complaint. But if Frank's beef was the coach was well outside the box to be able to see and relay pitches and the Umpires weren't doing anything to clean it up...he's got a valid point.

I'm working on it right now lolI realize that @NO SIR EEE usually starts the game threads. Does anyone mind if I go ahead and start the Florida one? If you'd prefer to wait, that's absolutely fine with me. I don't want to step on toes.
