I didn't post during the Vandy game in the SEC Tournament, and since the guys played so well in that one, I decided not to post during the rest of the time in Hoover. And look what happened. 😉

I tried to do that today, but I just couldn't sustain it. One reason is simple; the baseball forum may be my favorite on Vol Nation. The second reason is it takes my mind off other things. We just came to the realization that my mom needs to go to assisted living. This might not seen like that big of a deal to some of you, and I get that; y'all don't know me other than what I post here. She has gone downhill since the first of the year and we just can't give her the 24 hour attention that she needs. And it breaks my heart, even though the facility she's going to is top notch.

I got my love of Tennessee athletics from my parents, although they didn't go to school there (they are ETSU grads). Watching the BaseVols today has helped me deal somewhat with what's going on. Hopefully, things continue to progress well for the BaseVols and for my Mom. Sorry to dump this in the baseball forum, but Vol Nation has become kinda therapeutic for me.

The speculation i get it.... But it could be something acute and minor or it could be sonething much worse long term medical wise... Everybody needs to just chill tbh... We gonna ball and go with what we have anyways.... I understand fans gonna want answers and we may speculate but our media with some is absolutely being exposed

Because our athletic program is no longer a lead story producing, drama filled, dumpster fire and they have nothing to report other than the baseVols beating the 💩 outta people.
One reason I quit reading the news sentinel sports page, a long time ago.
Knoxville sports media loves them some drama...and not the good kind.

Danny White has put the clamps on his athletics and the media has to try to drum up some noise.

I won’t name the host or station, but I remember listening to a podcast one football season during the Gump years where they basically said the drama gets more clicks and listens than actual football talk did.
