I tried to buy the store/restaurant on 67 across from the camp ground in Butler about 12 years ago right after the absentee owner got stole blind from her employees and put out of business....$476k with a kitchen full of barely used equipment. Banks wanted a paid for house as collateral cause she only lasted like 8 months in business. Man what i coulda done with that place. I shoulda signed the note.

I can’t imagine any store in Butler being worth half a million dollars.

Buckner was a damn good hitter, and never deserved the hatred Red Sox fans gave him and still give him to this day. Not his fault his idiot manager left him in on a bum leg. Shoulda been a defensive replacement for him in extras in that game with the lead. Typical stupid Red Sox manager. I'll never remember Billy Buck for that, I'll always remember him as a great hitter and a great competitor. I would be proud to have that bat. Only Red Sox fans hate Billy Buck. Real baseball fans love him.

Convenience Store with a brand new fully equipped kitchen, breakfast and lunch grill and fitted/tabled restaurant across from the Lake? Sadly the bankers didn't have the vision
to see the possibilities. It had $180k of basically unused kitchen equipment, convenience store, breakfast/lunch grill, gas pumps and hwy frontage+ land value. I bet it's worth 5xs that now easy. I would[ve made it a biker destination stop.
