What did their fans NOT say… they were right behind my section and they said a few classless things. For instance, “We’re not scared of you rednecks,” “Rocky Flop TN” *when they went up 4-0, “Here comes Peds boy back into the game (when Evan re-entered). I heard more but it was maninly just random obnoxiousness with some stupid “defense” ”defense” chants.. like it was a basketball game. Lol

Wow, classless. Idk anything about them but it surprises me a small school of “nobodies” (that is what they call themselves) would resort to that behavior.

I was watching their dugout during the final moments of the TV broadcast and their faces looked shocked. I believe they thought they were truly going to win. There was a look of disbelief I can't completely describe.

Edit: I will add these post game comments kind of confirm that they were all in and believed they would win.

I am pretty damn sure there were plenty VN posters that thought the Humps had us too.

They’re a really good team. They should have felt like they could win and would win. That’s what really good teams do. I suspect we’ll see them again tonight and they’ll be even hungrier to win. We’ll need to bring it. I knew when they were put in our regional and pundits were calling our path easy that those pundits were stupid. Campbell would have beaten probably any other team with how they played and pitched tonight. Just not Tennessee.

Agreed. I just don’t get running down our players. Baseball is a game of failure and this team has over delivered all season. Fans should be supporting the players instead of dragging them down.

Many just don’t understand how hard the game of baseball really is. It takes elite athleticism and extraordinary reflexes to hit these pitches. I get that it is common to say “why did he take that pitch down the middle,” but there is SO MUCH MORE involved. Baseball is complicated.
