Who’s minutes do you hope he takes?

Will be interesting to see his development as we could really use help in the front court with JP done. Not sure if we can expect too much from DD though.

Think this is my ideal minutes breakdown without Cam (for the upcoming slate of games, different during SEC re: BB or if Dubar doesn't make a dent):

ZZ - 30
CL - 30
JM - 28
IM - 27

Edit: want to see if Dubar gets a consistent run because I do think if he gets comfortable will be a very welcome addition to depth because he can rebound, shoot, and defend aggressively. With Cam back having a 9 deep come 2025 would be ideal and deadly.

I get exasperated with “ideal minutes distribution lists”. May just be a personal pet peeve.

First, I’ve got to go through and verify all the abbreviations for the players to verify I’m qualified to review the list. .

As I try to evaluate the distribution, the variables begin to swirl and attack the concept of ideal. Variables being foul trouble, execution/effort on defense, discomforts (refuse to use the injxxx word), hot hands, great match-ups, poor match ups, etc.


What about Cam? … addressed later.

Strikes me as someone that will step out gracefully without being led out doddering, falling and drooling. He’s got a plethora of great sounding boards and resources at his disposal.

lol yeah it's just a proxy for general distribution, what I'd roughly hope to see all else being equal. Of course going to be different on any given night, just how I'd expect a deep rotation to shake out over the course of a season!

I do recall numerous articles and references that alluded to the different balls we used following the TTU game. I’m just not sure that is still an issue.
