We’ve played from behind the entire tournament (Alabama St doesn’t count). Really hard to fathom. I would say that I hope these guys can loosen up tomorrow and be themselves, but in a win or go home game I have a bad feeling we’re going to press again and swing at junk.

We definitely need to come out solid. Those RISP we left out there in the end came back to bite us.

I don't think either ejection for Anderson was warranted so I certainly don't think a 3 game suspension is warranted.

I agree I did not realize until the Replay but Anderson was 3 steps ahead of CTV. 3rd base ref ejected him and at first I thought they were going to eject both coaches.

He certainly didn’t help things but shaky pitching in the first 3 innings cost this game.

Just like Dolly in his last start, I didn't see a performance like that coming from Tidwell tonight. If you can't count on those two....

I agree, but especially in this situation I would have warned him to play ball and shut up or he was going to be ejected. 1 Warning and when it continued ejection. The UMP quicked fused Gilbert and there is no reason for either of them to do what they did.

During the in-game interview of ND head coach about TN pitcher - Tidwell - he is doing what we saw in the scout. TN starting pitchers have been getting roughed up the last couple of games - perhaps our starters have become predictable.

That said, the bombs on Tidwell were with 2 strikes - you can’t throw a ball up in the zone with 2 strikes on a hitter at this point in the season - teams are too good to leave balls in the zone.

Just got back from game.

Man, pre-game was flat/uninspired. Been that way a few weeks. Started game poorly. Emotion not there. Even when Drew and Frank got toseed the reaction from fans and TN bench was more shock than "F the world....let's go get em now boys". If we don't wake up from this stuper our season ends tomorrow. Watched too many good strikes tonight.......ah hell, I could go on...

I"m calling on all who are going to the game tomorrow to get there EARLY!!! Two hours early, and get the boys pumped. ND has their Grad Senior #1 going so it will have to be earned. We needs Dolls to be the All-American he was just named. It's big boy time from here on out! I'll be in my seat as soon as the gates open. Might have a few pump up things to yell into the dugout too!

For what its worth.....you don't throw out a player in a super regional without a hard hard warning. That was bush league, and I don't care what Drew said.
To ND's credit... they played a flawless game. There are the 4th or 5th best team I've seen us play. 1-4 can hit, after that pretty average. We can get two in a row if we get by tomorrow our chances go to 80%. Just my opinion and thoughts.

Oh, and can someone tell Blade to not throw cock high fastballs down the middle with 0-2 counts !!!! guezz...

Sorry but Dollander is our #1. Has been all year. Burns is also as good or better than Tidwell. Tidwell has been throwing great lately. Until he hung three pitches and it mattered the most

Like it or not that’s the kind of treatment you get when you have a reputation as being one of the most disrespectful teams in the country. Don’t get me wrong I’ve enjoyed watching these guys as much as anyone and I think their attitude has a lot to do with their success but this comes with the territory...

The season rests on Dollander’s shoulders. Our rotation hasn’t really given us much in this tournament. Time for them to step up.

Baseball is a team sport. This team has proven that game after game. When one player is down another will pick them up.

We got outplayed and out scouted tonight.
We were unlucky and had a few bounces go against us.
I’m really intrigued by the whole notion that ND knew our pitches. They knew what was coming from Blade and Will, it seemed. I think Joyce just overpowered them and I also think that’s why we saw Wyatt. ND didn’t have a great scout on him.
In hindsight, I wish we had started Joyce.
We have to get to their ace early tomorrow and we have to be patient at the plate and not press.
Tonight was the first time all season, that I saw a bit of doubt in our guys. Something seemed off tonight? Whether they were too tight, too loose, I don’t know.
Let’s take game 2 and send this thing to sudden death!
