My son played for a coach Deric Hawkins that played for San Jac. He holds or held a lot of hitting records there. Good kid. Had some demons he was battling though.

Yeah my son struggled to get playing time. He played through his Jr. year, but a kid in his class was a D-1 catcher that went to Lamar, Rhett McCall.
A bunch of kids my son played with are still playing a lot of places.
Good friends son is pitching for Our Lady of the Lakes Univ. Brett Vasquez He’s killing it. Hopes to transfer to D-1 his last year.

Another kid in his class played for Arkansas, transferred to Texas Tech and was drafted by the Reds as a pitcher Bryce Bonnin.
Curly Mangus is a pitcher for SFA.

Quinn caught all of them in Little League, travel ball and High School. It’s fun watching them succeed.

Most springs I get up there and catch a handful of games but I haven’t had a chance this year.
