I know that TV and the boys want to play to win, but this is getting stupid with all the delays and potential tournament changes. Just play some freshmen and mid week guys and go home and get ready for regionals.

I really enjoyed the season until Missouri exposed us and TTU and Alabama de-railed the rest of our season, we apparently didn’t make Hoover since we haven’t played yet

As gimmicky as single elimination tournaments are, I’d be fine with this approach. A 7 inning game or single elimination tournament would always have an asterisk by the winners name, which is why the SECs lack of preparation is comical at this point.

I know someone mentioned playing at Tropicana Field. We forget Houston is in SEC footprint and Minute Maid Park would likely be better choice for future.

Florida is filled with too many Floridians.

Losing is fine, but we definitely don’t want to just rest guys or to quote one user “not play” because there is a very fine line between resting up for regionals and getting out of rhythm and becoming rusty. We’re playing good baseball right now. Two weeks off between games would probably do far more to hurt us than help us. We need to play at least one, hopefully two games this week.

I say play the tournament at any citrus beverage based stadium. Minute Maid, Tropicana, Donald Duck Stadium, Tang Field at Sunny D Ballpark
