Beck is in a slump, it happens. Seem to recall him blasting an 8th inning HR to beat Auburn just a few weeks ago. Also seem to recall Gilbert mired in a slump toward the end of last season, but turned out ok in regionals.

His timing has been off. He’s been fouling a lot of balls off. Then he swings at a few bad pitches per AB too. He’s smoked some balls foul. He’s gonna climb out of this slump
