If we won this game by 20 and made the S16 like last year, they’d all be whining about how we peaked too soon. This forum gets a lot easier when you realize you can’t make the FF crowd happy no matter what you do.

Miss shots 1 & done, they beat you up the court doesn’t allow us get in our halfcourt D what we usually do best. Long misses are like our football team going 3 & out don’t only hurt your O but definitely hurts your D. It’s a bad dynamic.

We’ve missed him dearly on the boards. 1/12 3pt shooting. TN needs to just chip away. Law of averages in our favor but it’s just too much to overcome on the road. Total outlier of a 1st half. Crazy.

Maybe some of you experts will stop having so many short memories. I remember the celebrating when SV and JJJ said they were coming back. This was part of the group that had problems hitting the broad side of the barn against FAU.

I also remember the snide remarks when the guy we were counting on for some offense, Ledlum, transferred.

He should have told James and Vescovi to leave after last year. Fifth year players are not good players. Talent moves up. It doesn't stay stagnant for five years. Should have gotten fresh people.

I agree with many here that there is a severe overreaction to their play tonight, but I also agree with those throwing a pity party that this isn't a S16 team either. This is another bounce by second round squad by their play. When they catch an athletic squad in the tournament they're going to get bounced.

Being a good 3 point shooter isn’t enough if the ball isn’t moving. Either you need to drive and kick OR move the ball better with passes and we’re not doing either well.

I’d be in favor of staying in CONUS and playing mid-majors that present a variety of different looks to prepare for league play, instead of traipsing from sea to shining sea playing blue bloods who have reloaded annually.
Same goes for the women. The argument that it prepares the team for league play is, to me, inferior to the embarrassment. This type of exposure is not good.
I marked this game as an L as soon as I saw the schedule. Too busy playing in Maui last week, coming back and having to do school and practice, then traveling again.
Not as big of a crap-the-bed job, IMO, at this time as the LVs, who are probably all over at Harper’s house watching movies and eating spaghetti right now. That team has no pulse.
I hope Barnes steps off in his guys and sits a few (ZZ and Vescovi, for sure) and kicks them out of the locker room for a couple days when they get back. They’re better than this.

I have to say I really didn’t see this one coming. Being down 22 at half but even more giving up 61 points in a half. Wow. Tennessee basketball and sports showing its ugly head tonight and it’s not even December. Wow

Just because you comment on a couple BS calls (there were a few) doesn’t mean you’re blaming officials for this. NC wants it a lot more than Vols do.

If you can look at this team and see this team winning the SEC w/ how much we have been exposed in the last 2.5 games you’re nuts. Watch how all 3 teams have sat on dalton’s backside shoulder waiting for him to turn and drive into a double team. The lack of shooters when shots are wide open is concerning and history with Barnes has shown it doesn’t get better..
