You’d think the guy that posted about this being the first time we were swept by UK in the Barnes era would realize that statement isn’t exactly an indictment on Barnes, as he thinks it is.

They are what they are, can't change it up at this point. I'm just going to enjoy the remaining games and hope for the best. The season is ending too soon. Once it's over we are left trying to find a way to watch the baseball games on TV.

I get what you’re saying, but I don’t know why everyone thinks our only options are quick exits from the NCAA tourney with Barnes or lost in the wilderness. Why can’t UT aspire to make it to the next level?

Some of us remember UT aspiring to make it to the next level in football with the result that our children grew up never having seen a good Tennessee football team. If we're hesitant to move on from a coach whose personal record in the Big Dance exceeds that of our entire program and whose record against Kentucky is better than that of any coach we've had in our lifetime, perhaps we can be forgiven.

No doubt…and UK was 9-16 a couple of years ago. So, this is not even close to the worst UK game.

Does it seem like the lesser team tends to win most of the games in this series of late?

How is it possible to have the discrepancy in free throw attempts that we have game after game? 35 attempts to 14 doesn't even seem possible. But that's typical for us this year.

I don't ever remember seeing a team that gets to the line so few times.

Doesn’t add up to 21, but TN fouled intentionally late.

I put our struggles mainly on ON and Key. Those guys are upperclassmen and should not be so inconsistent. ON should be behind Plav, Aidoo, and Awaka in the rotation. Give Key's minutes to Mashak and Edwards and let them develop.

Yeah, that was 3-4 fouls. Still too lopsided to make sense.

JMO, but every practice from here on out I would have these guys shoot free throws, three pointers and turn around jumpers inside the arc ad nauseum with someone in their face. They know the offensive plays. They know how to play defense. These guys need to get waaaaay more consistent scoring. Teams that can’t score consistently won’t make it out of the first round or two of the NCAA Tournament.

Run an offense that doesn't constantly shoot jumpshots and free throw attempts go up. We hae two guys that attack, Mashack and Phillips. Phillips is out and Mashack got his fair share. For some reason Barnes tries to run our offense through ON. Do you think anybody is gonna foul him? They don't even have to guard him. He goes 0-5 on 10-12 foot jumpers to start the game every time. It is getting sickening to watch. Barnes has absolutely decided to go down with this ship.
