Jeremy Pruitt, better known as Cornbread, reinstated Banks after he threatened a cop on an arrest when he was driving with a taillight out. He told the cop that in Memphis we handle people like him with a gun. We would have been better off then and now if Cornbread hadn’t reinstated Banks after pulling that stupid stuff. Cornbread the gift that Fulmer gave us all and the gift that keeps on giving.

Way too much of this thread rambling about things other than the Vandy game. Same puffed up sense of greatness we had last week. Hope the team will settle down and play winning football. HH ain't here today.

I think the Pruitt players are wired differently as players than the type CJH will recruit. I was wrong that Hooker was a CJH guy as he was a Pruitt guy but over all I think the mental and mature aspect of CJHs recruits will be better.

Yes, it’s history but Banks was a cancer then and he was a cancer last week with jealousy of Hendon with the NIL money. You can’t just brush that under the rug and act like it didn’t happen. If Pruitt had cut ties back in 2019, we wouldn’t be talking about what happened last week. Banks makes a bad defense a little better but his off the field problems are just not worth the play or two he makes during the games. I’m sure CJH will be glad when JB eligibility is over. He is not worth the antics.
