Howitzer Joe Milton's passing game is like watching Nuke LaLouche from Bull Durham.
One throw is a strike across the middle and the next one hits the Mascot in the head.
We won't win a decent bowl game with this guy.

Is this what we have to look forward to next year ?

Weird play calls so far....lot of long low percentage throws and runs up the middle.

And all season, I've thought we have lacked strategic runs by the QB. Both and have made plays with their legs but they wait until someone almost has them in a headlock. The running lanes are there and have been all season.

For everyone talking about paying Golesh a mint to keep him from taking another job. I vote for letting him go and spending the money on the D.

Yeah, after that 4th down call, I can comfortably say tonight’s play calling is far from the best of the year. Not loving it.
Yeah, they gotta call it for what Joe is, not what Hooker was. 10 yard curls, slants. We were all hopeful for his accuracy but it just isn’t there.

Offense is definitely not as much of a threat with Milton. I know he hasn’t been the starter so chemistry/timing and all that comes into play, but he’s just too inaccurate. Doesn’t seem like he makes good reads on pulling the ball vs giving either, but maybe they’re playing it safe due to qb depth.

How far do you think Milton can throw if he puts everything into it?
Doesn’t matter if you can’t hit a bull in the ass. This isn’t longest throw in the world. You have to pinch and catch it sometimes. He drives CJH crazy. Crazy talent that doesn’t know how to play good offense.
