I will defend the coaches in that they are playing with a bunch of players on the Oline who are older, but are starting for the first time. There is a reason why they have not played very much in their first 4-5 years .

Is it? The dudes basically won nothing at Tennessee without Golesh and Hooker. He’s made some super questionable decisions in coaching retention and promotion. I’m not saying I’m giving up on him but there’s no reason to be blind to the NUMEROUS faults.

Also, just to get this off my chest. His play calling in short yardage situations is absolutely ATROCIOUS.

We don’t throw the ball or go fast paced anymore. We have forgotten who we are.

The problem is we have a quarterback who does not have the cognitive ability to run Josh Heupel system the way he really wants to. The only other option is a freshman quarterback, which clearly not enough trust has been built there.

So it looks like we are in for a long year regardless. Us as true Tennessee fans knew from the beginning. Milton is not the answer.
