Defense playing better.
The 3 momentum killer calls were absolute chicken - 1 being the ref kicking the ball, allowing FL to substitute on the 4th down, 2 being the crack back block, and the other being the roughing the passer.
I don’t know if Mays would be any better, but dang we are missing the guys we lost from last year.
I’m not giving up on Milton yet. Last thing this team needs is for all that talk to start.
I don’t understand the change in the offensive attack- going from side to side vs at least some intermediate routes vertical. I’ll say this- the RBs aren’t hitting like they have been. This dancing around and trying to hit a hole straight up is driving me nuts.
Vols were overrated, along with a few others, going into the season. We are seeing why now.
At least the next 3 games are at home and there’s an open date in there. Gonna have to regroup, but 2-1 is better than 1-2 at this point.

Every momentum changing play is immediately killed. I’ve literally never seen a ref kick a ball after setting it down. It’s a comedy of atrociousness.

I agree that it shouldn’t have been a penalty, etc. My point was the post about it being a fix. TN has played awful. It pains me to watch this as I love the Vols. I graduated in 94 and a season ticket holder. My son is a jr at UT. And he’s friends with some of the players ( mostly walk ons). I’m frustrated how poor we look on the filed as I don’t think it’s all FL.

3rd quarter was really good for UT. had a chance to score 14. Score 14 every quarter and that's 56 a game. That is the premise of this offense but just got in too big of a hole.

I'm asking if his offense is so difficult you need all conference players to run it and be productive. Because all we apparently need is a really good qb, then really good wr, now we need a really good center. That's all we need according to some people.
