This team just doesn’t have that guy and it kills them at winning time. No one has the ability to step up and we can’t close out games.

This team doesn’t have that guy at the end, but this team on offense doesn’t put much pressure on the opposing team.This team doesn’t ever put the opposing team on their heels. They don’t push the ball to get fast breaks, they currently aren’t getting good swing passes, and they don’t drive the ball well enough to cause the opponent to have to help and rotate. Usually the opposing team pushes our guards back were it is hard to get good offense.

There’s no such thing as SEC refs in bball. They’re regional, contract guys. They’ll do an SEC game in Lexington one night and the next they’re in Bloomington doing an IU game.

ZZ being a ball hog really cost us this one honestly. He made a couple shots down the stretch, but how does one of the best 3 point shooters in our history not get that shot when a 28% shooter who was 2-10 take a step back 3 for our final shot?

Because he didnt demand the ***** ball. Guys with a killer instinct demand the ball. All of them. This team doesn't have a guy with that mindset. ZZ is too damn small, our guards turn the ball over way to much and we suck at free throws. Shooting air balls on the road also doesn't help.

Right or wrong (I lean wrong, given that I think with the roster tonight he deserved more minutes), he routinely drives Barnes crazy before inevitably doing one small thing that serves as the tipping point and rides the pine as punishment.

Sucks the ******** ass SEC and their corrupt officials got in our heads the first Kentucky game. Hasn’t been the same since.

The free throw discrepancy is absurd. Some people that can maintain composure in the face of obvious corruption thaf have editing skills should put a reel of the BS calls together and call out the SEC.

I didn't get to watch the game. Did they give any update on when Phillips or JJJ might be able to play again?

Announcers said they saw no reason that JJJ wasn’t playing. Warming up and cutting on an ankle in a game aren’t the same.

at this point I’d rather play that first night and lose. We are in the tourney regardless so let’s just hope that we can get an extended break and try to get somewhat healthy for the tourney. Not optimistic but i for damn sure don’t want an sec tournament deep run this year with how worn down this team looks

Hard to fathom our ranking. We’ve lost 5 out of last 7.

I thought this game was one of the better losses. Just don’t have a go to player at the end of these games.

This team, on the rare occasion they shoot well, are an above average to good team when JJJ and JP play. Without those two . . . And the usual poor shooting performance . . . Tonight is what you get. They usually shoot 3-4 airballs every game . . .

Tennessee should have a better option than Zeigler at point guard. Barnes has been here 8 years. This is his worst offensive team in those 8 years.

Key has been the biggest disappointment. He’s pretty much done nothing all year long. 3 points tonight. 3! You can’t win games when your senior transfer backup PG contributes so damn little to the team. I didn’t expect him to be a 12-15 PPG ALL-SEC caliber player, but I was told he’d be better than whatever this is.
