The best thing Tennessee did was keep the clock running, make Alabama use it's timeouts, and trust your defense. An incomplete pass would stop the clock. He calls 3 run plays hoping they get a first down but not worried if they don't. Take a field goal to make Alabama need a touchdown. I think it was the right call by CJH. All this talk of going for it on 4th down would be a lot riskier IMO.

I’d have to agree that Nico played much better in the second half - much better indeed. Offensive line decided to block in pass protection and on running plays.

Yes we have. At the risk of aging myself, in 1970 we beat Alabama 24-0 then the following week beat Florida 38-7. Finished the year 11-1 and ranked #4.
