ZZ obviously can’t see that this game doesn’t require him to create. He has to stop trying to make the single pass score. Igor is still not getting the basic offensive flow either. They need to play him outside some to get him some breathing room. Lanier, Gainey and Mashack all playing well within the system. Estrella had a pretty good half as did Cade. I think teams that want to play fast with us will regret it. Louisville is already tired. We have to get a grip on tracking the ball and rebounding as a team. We had some dumb mistakes and unnecessary fouls, but great to see some rhythm in the offense.

But it is the second game of the year with a number of new players getting PT so I would expect some rough edges in a raucous environment. No excuse for ZZ though with some bad decisions. He’s too experienced for that. Impressed by our depth. The one constant is the defense. Still stellar.

9 turnovers by ZZ alone, 3 more than Louisville as a team. He’s gotta clean it up, can’t have that from a senior PG. Defense as a team is much better than game 1.

Point guard play has been really terrible otherwise a good half of basketball for us. Ziegler passing into traffic really thought he wouldn't do that this year. He has been here a while should be locked in on how to play the position wisely.

Both his fouls were questionable imo, seems like he’s getting the Santi treatment by officials so far.

Igor a couple of touch fouls he will learn not to do that especially on the road. I thought Estrella and Phillips played well with both Okpara and Milicic on the bench because of foul trouble.

My high school always said a pg has to know his teammates. When feeding the post you have to make it easy for them to gather.
