The Official #13 Tennessee @ #14 Missouri Game Thread, 3:30 PM ET, CBS

Drink ran the same type play (hiding Burden behind the line) that Heupel did to them last year with Hyatt. Hyatt ran deep while Burden just ran to the open flat.

Y’all need to stop with this "average" Missouri talk. Their record and how well they played against Georgia and today says otherwise.

If they are average, what is UT?
Tried to tell everyone that Missouri was really good but everyone thinks they were just lucky to stay close with Georgia. P.s. Georgia is gonna absolutely dismantle us at home.

Start Nico next week. Seriously, need something. We are an 8-4 team. Pretty damn average...........again!
This team was always average. It blows my mind how many people looked at this roster and saw 9-3 or 10-2, or Hell some even saw Atlanta or a playoff berth. Last year was great and all, but it caused several of our fans to forget what had just transpired a year before and then Pruitt’s fiasco of a coaching tenure. This team is an 8-4 team with 6-6 talent, it just is. However, tonight was the grossest loss I’ve seen in quite some time. So Heupel needs to figure some things out and quick, because next weekend isn’t going to be better.

Honeymoon with Heupel is officially over. He’s not going anywhere soon, but he can’t continue to be apathetic.

Injuries in secondary haven’t helped but this may be the most disappointing game in my opinion.
Agree totally. This team got exposed in every way today. Not a single “big win” this season. Next week will be UGLY

Now.... questions need to be asked. I'm already out on Martinez, last week. Done with him. I was hoping the defense would step up this year and if they did, it hasn't been much of one at this point in the year.

Tell me again how good our D staff is when a D-2 transfer puts up 200+ rushing & 100+ receiving yards against your D. If you can't make adjustments to stop one player from killing you then maybe you should consider other employment opportunities. Just sayin'!!!!

I am usually very positive and don’t get to high or low during a game. This game is a pathetic effort by all involved. Coaches and players both have been terrible. Letting a division three running back run all over them. No excuse for it, Poor performance by all involved. They should all be ashamed,
Agree. Sick of the "It's a different team" line. We all know that. After Golesch left though, the play calling has been excruciatingly vanilla. Nothing creative or exciting, or fast. We just look like an average team, seldom going fast, seldom throwing down the field. We should have learned by now that we can't be greater than an 8-4 team like this. This team got a lot of credit and stats against teams that sucked. When we play the big boys, we look just okay. How the heck can a Missouri build an offensive line like this and we can't. Our defense could NEVER stop the tigers tunning game. Never, they ran all over us. They LOOKED LIKE THE BETTER TEAM.

Heupel is a ******* joke to sit and watch this nonsense over and over again and think things are ok/or acceptable. You knew long ago this product wasn’t going to get sold, but you pushed it out anyways. I didn’t expect a national title, but didn’t expect to look like one of the biggest jokes in college football

Heupel seems to struggle mightily with getting teams ready for the road. I know, people will point to LSU to refute that, but LSU sh!t the bed and UT was able to seize on the opportunity. Every other major road game has been a total sh!t show.

Facemask on the other guy- not on the RB. He had a finger in the other guys mask
The fact that the refs can see that minor of a detail with a guy wearing black gloves had a finger on a black face mask tells you are desperately searching for any penalty they can call on UT, while essentially staring off into oblivion when the opponent commits a penalty. Ridiculous.
