I don't even know if it's a motivation thing. It's not that his effort isn't there, he's a hard worker. His focus might be off, and in some ways watching from the bench can get your mind prepared to play even when it hasn't been doing it by itself.He has struggled mightily this year in the games I have watched. Coming off the bench could provide motivation & better play.

Legs are my main concern tonight. How much gas did the Colorado game take out of the tank?Looking at the stats, it seems Texas Tech has a number of guys that can shoot it from 3. Maybe the numbers are bit skewed because of the level of competition, but If we don't clamp down, this game could be a struggle.
Couple that with the fact that our guys traveled from Knoxville to Colorado then to New York. I have my concerns. Start off the game slow and we could find ourselves in a hole like Villanova.
With that said, I still think we are the better team. Just sometimes it takes too long to get it going. That will bite us badly if we don't set the tone early.
