The Official #13 Tennessee vs. Texas Tech Game Thread, 7:00 PM ET, ESPN

Tech was just tougher. They got on the floor for every loose ball, dominated the def glass. Neither team is anything special.

I hate to say it, but I don't think we're very good. Nothing I've seen from this team against Power 5 opponents this year really suggests we are anything better than mediocre. I mean I'm sure some will just say I'm being a Nega-Vol, but in our games against Villanova, Colorado, and Texas Tech we have looked like a team void of any offensive skill. North Carolina seems far more like an anomaly than an actual sign of a good team.

I think we needed to sub a bit more in the 2nd half to try and find something. That group was on the court an awful lot considering all the travel.

I’m here and it’s waaaaaay worse in person. This is a game where a team didn’t win, somebody just didn’t lose. Period. It was horrible all around.

What’s happened to Chandler’s aggressiveness and vision on driving the ball?!?!? It’s like that part of his game has just disappeared tonight, like he’s intimidated

Vols have only themselves to blame. Poor shooting, didn’t box out at times, missed layups and dunk, and NO attempt to rebound offensively. Plus piss poor shooting.

Barnes better find some other way to score other than three ball as Fulky isn’t the answer inside. Hopefully we won’t play against many teams with this type of length and defensive tenacity.

I’m just glad you told me the one thing we didn’t need to worry about this year was our shooting. I’ve been resting easy since.

What are you talking about? Literally all week (and really since the Tennessee Tech game) I have made posts about how inconsistent and concerning our perimeter shooting has been. Where have you been?
