The Official #13 Tennessee vs. UNC Greensboro Game Thread, 4:30 PM ET, SEC Network

I wonder if this will be a reason they can use to get a medical red shirt for him. He either needs to play a lot more or red shirt if they think he will be here in another 4 years.

He hasn’t played in the 2nd 50% of the schedule yet and isn’t over 30% for the entire season.

My main house is under construction/cable disconnected and we just have internet at our other house so was hoping someone may have posted it on YouTube…thank you for the response though Thunder! : )
I bet that it will be on the SEC Network overnight. But the power outages have deleted my program schedule. It might show on their website.

Vols played good D, this team will get better as it goes. James is going to help us a bunch this year. We need his experience and for him to step up in leadership this year. Fulk and Olivia and James are going to have to crash boards hard as the season goes. Hundley-Hunter has to become more fluid and aggressive in time but he is very young and has to get a better inside presence as we move on. But he has great potential! We have good guard play and depth. We have to get better at going inside just to make the outside more effective. We need to start making free throws more consistently. If we can keep our defensive intensity and develop a decent inside game I think our overall offense will get better. But we are best in transition and the key is making that extra pass to get the good shot even if it is a outside shot. We are a perimeter team we just don’t need to rush shots, move the ball get somebody a great look and everybody crash. We can get teams in trouble when we get in transition early and hit big shots, because our D almost always makes it tough. Rebound and take the good looks. GBO!

One more good tune up before Mempiss. I know they suck, but when we play them they'll suddenly wake up. BHH scored more than the rest of our bigs put together. Don't think he should see less than 20 minutes from here on.
Arizona will be the real test. Probably the next #1 after Baylor loses today. Hope we smokeum.

He brought his percentage up to what? 18% maybe. JJJ is a good player but shooting isn't his thing. I will say this. If we can just get 10 to 12 points a game from him it puts us at a different level.

I wish we had a guy that could score 12-15 feet from the basket like Admiral and Grant could. I wonder if we could turn JJJ into that type of guy

It's his third season. At this point it's highly unlikely he ever has any kind of consistent offensive game. I just wish he could start making point blank shots and lay ups.

JJJ is probably our most complete player, but the neck beards on the board will never admit it. His offense can be an enigma, but no one on this team is a better defender, he rebounds, he is an elite passer, and he is one of the few vocal leaders on this team.

We would have no chance at winning the SEC without him. He is incredibly under-valued. If his shot is falling, like yesterday, then he makes our team extremely tough to beat.

Barnes says in practice JJJ is possibly the best shooter on the team. Started out rough with at least some of that due to injuries, but yes, he is a good shooter.

JJJ’s freshman year he shot almost 37% from 3, which is actually pretty good. I think his true talent is okay if he’s taking good shots

Yeah, he has to play a lot because of defense, rebounding, etc. Just a little bit of of offense from him puts us at a different level.

It's strange but I think I trust him on an open three more than any other wide open shot on the floor.
