Man…I love Joe and don’t wanna beat a dead horse and I also understand the Mocs aren’t on our level but it is SOOOO nice to have a qb that hits his throws and gives receivers a chance to make the catch. Nico is throwing darts. I’m hyped! GBO!

I honestly hope Joe is the type of player that blossoms in the NFL. He always had the potential to be great but I just don’t think he could get his head on completely right to do it here.

I have one other. I’m still very concerned about our secondary. I would like to see them get some reps and tested a little.

Yeah, I don’t think you see them come out early. D line will continue to rotate and rest but the secondary needs all the reps they can get.

The defense actually getting off the field is going to help the offense a ton if this carries over to bigger games. Hopefully can keep some of these teams from having 8 minute drives every time

He was burnt. He had to assume the pass would be perfect, so he just ran to close the gap.

Absolutely. Defense is where you see the most improvement from week 1 to week 2. Guys are still learning reads in real time and live action on defense can take a game or two to get where you need to be.

The question is “when do DBs turn and look for the football”?

Do you think he was in a good position? The obvious answer is he was beat. So why would you want him to turn around? He should be chasing the inside hip of the WR and not look back until he’s in phase with the WR.
