Only reason Clemson rose to the pinnacle of football was because Lyle Jones was such an arsss and horrible coach.

If I have one criticism of the game, I don't think we've tackled all that cleanly all game besides the sack we put on their QB. I see a lot of arm tackling and over pursuing. Running by ball carriers. We're not "sticking" a lot of guys when we tackle. Evidence of a team that did very little hitting in falk camp.

This has been the Tennessee way as far back as I remember though. We love to dive at the ball carrier instead of stick our feet into the ground and hitting them.

It makes me appreciate how quickly Nico does his reads when I see Gaston out there.

Not a complaint as Gaston looks comfortable as a backup, but Nico reads, decides, and executes really fast.
