I wish the severe BVS sufferers would seek counseling. We are destroying a team we should destroy, and even doing it with the 2nd string now. I mean, 610 total yards to 186 says it all.

My criticisms about the defense isn't just from garbage time though. We have overwhelmed UTC because of size/talent differential. But I don't think we look all that impressive from a technique or physicality standpoint. Like I said, we look like a team that did very little hitting in fall camp.

I’m not one to say there’s no criticisms from this game. But physicality wise I think our defense has been great. I do believe there’s some coverage in the middle of the field to clean up, but that can be improved over time. I think our secondary looks a lot better. We lost a few times for sure though. Our offense is a different story. They look insane.

Dude McCoy has been laying the wood all game long. Secondary is always going to be the most criticized because it has taken the longest to build depth and recruit good players. I’m not a huge fan of Martinez at all but nothing we have seen today from this secondary points to them being great or terrible. Defense hasn’t ran any stunts and we’ve not had to try to create pressure at all on Chattanooga. Very Vanilla on defense.

Only disappointment is the lack of impact plays by Pearce. Expected more from him, but he is getting a lot of double teams.
