Both were poor choices. You gotta make Ala go the length of the field for every point. ESPECIALLY when you have the lead

Well it must be obvious to even the most casual observer by now that Joe won't be able to lead this team to another extraordinary season. Once again it looks like 8-4 is our ceiling with 7-5 a real possibility. So, once again, why not move on from Joe now? It's hard for me to believe that Nico isn't ready by now to step in for the Kentucky, Connecticut, Missouri and Vanderbilt games. Georgia, of course, will be another beat down so why not let Nico begin his Tennessee career today. Joe, unfortunately, will not even get a walk-on tryout in the NFL. Let's get an early start on 2024 and let Nico play these games this year which, in turn, will be of great benefit to Nico and Tennessee next year IMHO.

They were bound a determined to flip momentum, and did. Can't blame them for the play calling though. Can't take your foot off the gas.

Tennessee is going to have to be tough enough mentally to not let BS officiating get in their heads. It doesn't appear it's going to stop this year. Heup can't allow his O to look like Johnny Majors is calling plays with a 2 score lead either.
several calls extended their drives. Several put us in long distance situations. The holding NO CALL featured in this thread was a MASSIVE game changing play. So officiating WAS a factor. A bad miss on their long pass TD, and several drive extending missed tackles by our guys was big too. If we cut it to one score then legitimate questions can prevail.

The no call on defensive holding of White at the end is pretty damning. Blowing out of both sides of their whistle. He was seriously hooked by the defender.

Dude shut up. I’m tired of people blaming refs. Refs didn’t just cost Joe a 5-yard over throw. Refs didn’t make Heupel go for it 4th and 1 at midfield, down 3 with Bama having momentum. Refs haven’t caused 20+ unanswered points in the 2nd half. Some terrible and missed calls? Sure. But those didn’t lead to this. Complete collapse in the second. I love Heupel. Nowhere near saying he’s gotta go. But this is 100% on him and the staff. Worst game they’ve coached since being here.

While the team crashed and burned and CH coached like he’s on dope, there were blown calls that directly impacted the game…. Big time
