We should try to stop playing Georgia and Florida too. That way we can be the new TCU of 2022 every year.
Neither of these teams are the same as Bama and these teams are our eastern division opponents. Why play a western division opponent every year that will always get the friendly whistle and are the favorites of the SEC office located in Bama.

All I know is I'm so effing sick of bama I could throw something at the tv. Nick Saban makes me want to puke. I despise him, his fake folksy gosh gee crap and his stupid commercials. The way all the commentators gush over every damned thing he says and does. Everything. All of it.
Saban will leave sometime, sooner rather than later. His demonic pact has a definite expiration date 😂

Methinks some **** is rigged.
I think you are correct.
Going forward, Milton shouldn’t see the field unless absolutely necessary. We may as well get Nico ready for the future since Danny White and CJH have given up 2023. As bad as I hate to admit, I believe (after seeing what I witnessed tonight) they are all in on the future, and completely content, with Alabama being the SEC West contender for this year. I have zero hope to win against UGA this year, in my mind UT (from the administration through the Athletic Department) is completely content with a 9-3 record.
Prove me wrong, it isn’t happening, regardless of home field advantage vs. UGA. UT is happy with 9-3 or maybe 8-4 for this year.

This literally means nothing after this season.

Thank you. Players must play through bad calls and coaches must coach through it. TN received favorable calls in the 90’s. It happens. I agree officiating is HORRIBLE this year, horrible! And some of the calls or no calls hurt us. But we didn’t lose this game b/c of officiating.

We got out coached, out played and Bama remained poised while TN imploded on the opening kickoff after the half. We never bounced back and the coaches didn’t have an answer on both sides of the ball.
We lost because of officiating and a puzzling ultra conservative game plan after the half.

I tell you want makes me want to puke. Officiating and lack of consequences for being absolutely bad. I believe a lot of money is going around. Just call a fair game and I understand some things can be missed at speed but damn. This actually has nothing to do with the game today. Just more so the sport in general. These conferences and NCAA need to funnel money into training. I also dont believe in hometown heroes calling games. Make these guys full time employees and take the conference tag off and a grading system in place by governing body.

If you think officiating was the issue today and not the stupid 4th down calls(1 not even at midfield) from shotgun formation or defensive backs not tackling, then I guess …play on playa

Lol thats what you got from my post ? I clearly stated it had nothing to do with today. We lost because we played poorly in the 2nd half. OL got dominated because we played soft af in the 2nd half and went conservative instead of playing agressively. Then we went stupid with the 4th down calls. We kicked 2 field goals because we got cute and didnt man up and run the ball. We played soft defensively in the 2nd half instead of coming after Milroe.

Somebody is going to have to show me the rule that says waving teammates off the ball with both arms below the numbers can be called an invalid fair catch signal. Maybe it is there with the addition of the goes to 25 rule on touchbacks or fair catches but I can't find it in the book. Before that a fair catch signal required your hand to be clearly above your head and waved back and forth more than once.
Anybody got anything on that signal providing protection for the player giving it?
So I guess they consider it an invalid fair catch signal and the play is dead...only reason I know this is due to the Iowa game and the ref gave an explanation after the game. WEAK

Just a FYI. Last year 2022, through six games, we scored 286 points (included UF, LSU and Bama). This year, six games, we have scored 172 points (included UF, Texas A&M and Bama).
That is 114 points difference! That's a lot of points. Yes, we had Hooker, Hyatt & Tillman plus an OC that had been with JH for a while. New OC, QB that has lost the job at two different schools
and same HC. Future does not look good. We can only hope for some changes to be made quickly.

However, the favorable whistle for bama will continue. Something needs to be done. This happens not only against Tennessee but the rest of the leagues as well. Look at last year. They lose the Texas ands Texas AM games due to officiating. I bet they don’t get another holding call the rest of the year. At least one that means anything. No way they went through this game with one penalty. It is a joke.

The worst part is, you don't have the basic imagination to think through what happens if you're wrong. Welcome to the list.
There is no worst part. You worry about yourself and I'll worry about mine. The laughable part is it's okay to damn referees to hell, but when someone laughs at the absurdity, you get your panties in a bunch. Typical.

If Bama is FLAGGED they don't score.
We whipped the piss out of Alabama in the first half. In the second half our team and staff lost any knowledge of the game???
I call BS and I cannot help but believe our AD and coach aren’t involved.

The quitting can’t be unintentional. Referees, Vegas, SEC and who know who else influenced this game. Our team, coaching staff and athletic department will have less
Trouble sleeping than I will.

Been way past time to start getting ready for next year.
