That of course can both ways if their big guy can't close out on Aidoo midrange and he is ON and of course if they allow big bodies to lower their shoulder and PUSH their way toward the rim. Seen that go both ways this year.

With this game we'll have played arguably the four best teams in the Big 10--a very good basketball conference--plus Syracuse
and Kansas. If that schedule doesn't get us ready for the SEC, nothing will.

This is a resume building win if the vols can get it done at home with the crowd behind them. Hopefully the guys will be ready to play today like they were against George mason.

I hope our shooting team that plays well on defense shows up. I can remember us challenging the century mark scoring wise and knocking down almost 20 threes a game. Now it is like fingers crossed and prayers lifted. We have fallen quite a bit since the first week or two of the season. Need to get our mojo back.

Obviously nothing that happens in November/December is ending your season, but this feels like a big moment today to make a statement and build some confidence moving into conference play. Hope we can pull this one out. Lot of hype and excitement for this team in the off-season. Would feel a bit disappointing to lose 4/5 of your biggest non-conference games.

I will be watching and hoping for ZZ to continue his recovery tour and for Santi to start approaching his lifetime shooting numbers. Really think he can be a huge factor yet as the opposition is going to have to pay a LOT of attention to the K man when they are both on the floor. Just can't believe he has lost the recipe.

We have been blessed with Knecht. If the hold overs can play just as well as last years our game will be awesome. So far, the returning members have not kept up with the new guys. A few exceptions game by game. Aidoo can be a gamer. Awaka can too. Our biggest question marks are Z and Vescovi shooting worse than I do.

I think those losses were like a kick in the head or ego busters. Regroup starting today.
