Our offense SUX! It is amazing we have 31 points. We don't even try to throw the ball, and when we do it's 3rd and 10 and the defense knows we're throwing, and even then it's ugly. We have 82 yards passing--and half of that came on the one play to Malone. Otherwise, we have 40 yards passing for the game--most of that on swing passes to Kamara, which the defense almost always sees coming. We haven't throw ONE pass to our (GOOD) TE! Va. Tech's offensive play-calling is much more creative than ours--everyone's is. When DeBord does try to get even halfway creative--about twice a game--the execution or design is terrible--how about that middle screen to Hurd when Hurd had 3 guys on him and we were lucky that wasn't picked. It's just not a well-designed offense. We basically run a 1970s Big 10 offense out of shotgun--Hurd, Hurd, swing pass or run Dobbs. Uggh.
