Clap in this scenario = 3 years of Cuonzo. Which got us just as far in the Tourney as CRB. So yeah… bring on the girl who can get me to the FF. That experience lasts forever. ….Clap is treatable…

Most of the vocal anti-CRB crew are Peral lovers who will never accept any other coach which drives them to obsess over silly narratives (e.g., the only thing that matters is post season but I'm going to b*itch incessantly about regular season games that are not bad losses (hello TTU and AL) or are not "pretty" wins (Ole Miss) all after beating AZ and while also being ranked in the Top 20). They will point to Bruce's success here and at AU while ignoring his record of cheating and lapses of ethics/character.

I like Pearl
Did he Cheat?...yes no maybe.
Did his Past previous incidents Catch Up with him? Absolutely! Somewhat Blackballed.
Did he get Suspended 8 Games? Yes
Did the School support him and fight for him? No. Look at LSU....Will Wade
Has he done the same at Auburn? Yes.... Wash, Rinse Repeat... Directly, no, but probably enough to claim plausible Deniability.
Good Coach...Yes
Lapses are his trademark and will never go away.

Barnes is a Great Coach...Defensively.
His Offense can be frustrating at times...and I am waiting for the moment this year that the engine turns over and doesn't shut down at a point in the game.
Is he overpaid, No.
Last three games we have missed more Layups than we do in an entire season...
Time will tell....waiting on the Peak...and hopefully it comes at the right time.
We needed the losses to learn how to prevent in the future.

I don’t know if he’ll be working it, but I’m sure we’ll get some kind of ringer that is influenced in one way or another by Wade and his minions.
I’m generally a glass half-full kind of guy, but I have zero confidence that the Vols will come out of here with a W, and not because of their own doing. I’ll be cheering hard, nonetheless. GBO!!

Pretty much agree with everything here. I definitely think CRB could improve his offensive strategy in terms of creating/exploiting mismatches and shot allocation as has been mentioned on the board. While I do not want players to pass up good looks, we need to play more intentionally to ensure our better shooters (e.g., Vescovi, Powell, and even Chandler) get more looks as there is a reason certain players find themselves open (e.g., JJJ, Ziegler and Bailey).

As far as cheating, I know it is a fine line (if you aren't cheating you aren't trying) and it has evolved to the point everyone knows what to do in order for head coaches to be insulated. Having said that, I do think CRB runs a "clean" program overall (this is relative) while Pearl has quite the history and it was not a coincidence IMO the whole Chuck Person situation occurred (e.g., I live in ATL and am well aware of Sharife Cooper and his Dad - there is no way he wasn't paid a nice sum to "choose" AU...lol).

Carlus and Dale Brown nearly came to blows as well.

Another good memory was when Dan Federman gets the game winning tip in at the buzzer after the LSU clock operator failed to start running the clock for about 5 seconds (around 0:15 remained when TN inbounded). Dale Brown grabs the mic and is on the PA telling the crowd to stay while the ending is replayed while Devoe has his team going straight to the bus without showering or changing out of their uniforms.

I might have dreamed this, but didn’t Dale Brown flip off the UT student section and surrounding crowd in the 76-77’ time period after Ernie and Bernie kicked his teeth in one Saturday night?
