Dude almost choked the game away with, as per usual, superior talent. He's garbage and his non-conference scheduling is bottom of the conference tier.

Yea he has solid team but they played nobody in the non conference. They continue to be really undisciplined under him. He gets good players though.

Do you realize BHH didn't play any after the 3 minute mark of the 1st half. It looks like Barnes would rather lose and make a point. I don't know...maybe we lose anyway but it was absolutely puzzling how James got so many minutes playing like he did.

Exactly. Mashack looked good and hustled. Not perfect but he was dialed in and trying to contribute when most of the other guys looked like they were going through the motions. He already had KC on the court, put Mashack in for those minutes and let him show what he can do. He couldn’t be any worse and he might grow from it.

This team (rt now) is outside of top four of SEC.

Auburn, Bama, LSU and KY are better than us. I’m not sure about Ms State and Texas A*M. The Vols can have a high ceiling but the floor is very low with lack of shooting. Auburn and others have a higher floor and can get hot at any time. I’m concerned rt now as our Vols struggle to put points on the board and go thru scoring droughts during every game.

14 games into this season and they have no leader, no offensive identity except shooting 32.5% from three point range. So much preseason promise yet so few results....they might go 8-8 the rest of the season...

Just prior to the first game, who did you think would be the team leader?

We will be either 4-5 or 5-4 midway through the SEC schedule. 2nd half is easier so we may win 9 or at best 10 games in league play. Will be enough to make the tournament given our out of conference schedule. But unless we find some consistency from anywhere offensively (both interior and/or on perimeter) we are mid-tier SEC. Doubt we will. The next game at home against South Carolina needs to be a win or this team may fall apart. Honestly we are lucky we aren’t 0-3 in SEC play thus far.

If we make the tourney, we’re an easy “ upset” pick in the first round

Both teams lacked leadership. Same Vets from last years except for Pons.

That's was my prediction. Still, no one really believed we could go to Baton Rouge and beat those guys. Road wins in this conference with this team....nah. Expectations out of line IMO.

Uros plays hard and I like his attitude, wish it would rub off on some of the other players.......

I’ll admit I’m really hard on Uros for a lot of reasons, but he definitely does have a good attitude and plays his own version of hard. Needs to step up and be strong in the paint. Too weak and won’t go to the basket, wants to settle for a layup or a hook, and they won’t fall.
