"Wade owned Barnes"
Dude almost choked the game away with, as per usual, superior talent. He's garbage and his non-conference scheduling is bottom of the conference tier.
Do you realize BHH didn't play any after the 3 minute mark of the 1st half. It looks like Barnes would rather lose and make a point. I don't know...maybe we lose anyway but it was absolutely puzzling how James got so many minutes playing like he did.
If we make the tourney, we’re an easy “ upset” pick in the first roundWe will be either 4-5 or 5-4 midway through the SEC schedule. 2nd half is easier so we may win 9 or at best 10 games in league play. Will be enough to make the tournament given our out of conference schedule. But unless we find some consistency from anywhere offensively (both interior and/or on perimeter) we are mid-tier SEC. Doubt we will. The next game at home against South Carolina needs to be a win or this team may fall apart. Honestly we are lucky we aren’t 0-3 in SEC play thus far.
I played and coached lil buddy and I see the game in so many spectrums.....especially when I have a tasty bourbon to accompany meObviously people with opinions who have never coached or played in a tough environment against a good team. I’m sure most only dreamed of making their middle school team.
Dead horse….yeh.Seems very similar to last year to me. Two first round draft picks and 3 overall draft picks and we were a ho-hum team With them. Looks like same story different season to me. A recurring theme with Barnes. I know I’m beating a dead horse but he does not deserve to be the 5 th highest paid coach in the country with the results he delivers
Both teams lacked leadership. Same Vets from last years except for Pons.Seems very similar to last year to me. That's was my prediction. Still, no one really believed we could go to Baton Rouge and beat those guys. Road wins in this conference with this team....nah. Expectations out of line IMO.14 games into this season and they have no leader, no offensive identity except shooting 32.5% from three point range. So much preseason promise yet so few results....they might go 8-8 the rest of the season...
I’ll admit I’m really hard on Uros for a lot of reasons, but he definitely does have a good attitude and plays his own version of hard. Needs to step up and be strong in the paint. Too weak and won’t go to the basket, wants to settle for a layup or a hook, and they won’t fall.Uros plays hard and I like his attitude, wish it would rub off on some of the other players.......
