They've shown improvement and Stackhouse seems to have a higher coaching ceiling than Bryce Drew did at Andy. Pippen has helped him a lot by being there but their team has more talent and a lot better record than last year and plays much harder....given several good teams tough games.

Stackhouse could end up being what Penny should have been as a head coach.....maybe not as strong of a recruiter (cheater) but a mature, better coach who will recruit very well if he continues to make Vandy respected more. Penny has had two top classes and has looked like a much worse coach than Stack, even against weaker competition and with Memphis having other advantages over the Andy job. Not to mention the difference in how they carry themselves.

They still shouldn't pose too great a threat to us most years while Barnes is here but I do think Stackhouse makes them at least a mid pack SEC contender instead of the bottom feeder they have been recently. Stackhouse could end up being one of the better high level NBA players turned college coaches in recent years.

We will see if he likes the recruiting long term. He seems to be more of NBA guy.

Seems like if Hubie brown has a short leach at UNC, he nay be a candidate there in a few years depending on how things go. They don't have the wins, but Stackhouse has done a better job so far than what I expected.

Play more of the four 3-ball shooters at same time to see what that looks like. Wish Harrison would heat up for season end.

Rotate Uros, Fulky, Clarksville, & Aidoo in paint.

Turn Kennedy, Scooter, Santi, JJJ loose on outside. Hope that Powell and Bailey can hit some 3's.

Would like to see more of Cali...he brings hustle.

Okay, Clarksville is BHH, Scooter is ZZZ, Cali is Mashack. But who the hell is Harrison ?

Not sure why anyone would say otherwise as the program was a wreck and they’ve made positive strides.

I sense this may be a slight let down for us. Not that we won’t win but sandwiched between a tough road win and an upcoming rematch w UK. I’m thinking around 10

Overall Record of 9-16 and 3-13 SEC play last season. They are sitting @ 13-10 overall and one game below 500 in SEC play, hopefully two after tonight. His players play hard and they beat Arkansas this season. They gave us fits @ Memorial earlier this year, but we got the win. Recruiting will be the key for Stack.

It doesn’t matter to me if Stack is successful or not at Vandy; however, he has made positive strides this yr. Hope we win by 20 tonight and the game is never in doubt.
