Yup. I was talking with someone about going up on a weekend this year (too far to drive for a weekday game) when the weather gets a bit better, and catching a game or two. They never believed me when I told them good luck finding tickets that were stupid high priced, until they started looking themselves. They finally got back to me and said, I would never dream of tickets being that high for baseball.

For me it’s been the availability. Being able to actually watch all the games on ESPN+, SEC+, etc. I think that’s helping across the board. Plenty of baseball fans with limited options on viewing before.

Agreed. Can you imagine the momentum and increased exposure college baseball would have gotten if MLB had cancelled the season, or had a lengthy strike? The college game would have been all over TV. I personally now enjoy college baseball much more than MLB (and this comes from a diehard Braves fan).

Yes streaming on ESPN+ or SEC+ but only the “big ones” are on network TV.

Agree....and you can catch a game 5 or 6 nights on most weeks.

The Vols have added a home midweek game against Bellarmine on Tuesday, April 19 at 6:30 p.m. to replace its Feb. 22 game against Tennessee Tech that has now officially been ruled a rain out.

Coach Vitello would like to have it in the budget to wear throwback uniforms when they play Tennessee Tech at the Smokies stadium on April 12th since both teams will be using wood bats.

Looking at the schedule and noticed the Game against Tennessee Tech doesn’t have any TV listing.
