I’ve been away dealing with some family stuff. Thankful to turn attention to SEC conference play. Glad to see our team’s first SEC series win. Ready to go for the sweep today.

Question: Did Jared Dickey get injured yesterday? Saw that he was in the lineup but was pulled after a bit. Hope he’s OK.

Don’t think he was injured, just hadn’t had a hit yet in the series.

I was in the middle of claiming these then remembered it's my MIL bday and I dont want in the doghouse

I was slightly off because I forgot he had a hit in fridays game, but still like 1/19 with 1 walk. Ben McKee had mentioned that he had a history of only showing against lesser competition. FWIW, still very impressed with what he’s done this season. Just need it to continue

Ah, I see where you're coming from now, and didn't realize he had a history with lesser competition. It's worth noting coming from Ben McKee since he knows the team as well as anyone. Given that context, I think his play is worth monitoring. Hopefully, he can jump over that hurdle, and carryover his great start from non-conference play. Like you, I'm very impressed with his tremendous start,

Looking at the upcoming schedule, we honestly need a sweep today. We will most likely have a losing SEC record 2 weeks from today if we don’t. Our road schedule is absolutely brutal this year. Have to take advantage of home field while we have it.
