3:33pm: The Reds have spoken “extensively” with the Mariners about acquiring Lee in the past 48 hours, a source tells Jon Paul Morosi of FOX Sports (Twitter link). Price reports that the Reds are going “all-out” for Lee

Yankees in the morning, Reds in the afternoon and im guessing the Rangers by the evening.

i do have to say i am glad he did not end up as a yankee. but that is not to say that won't happen by the start of next season. pretty much everyone is a yankee at some point in their career's.

Why would they get rid of Dunn, he is having a career year?

Then it sounds like the perfect time to trade him, no?

Maximize his value. Sell at a high. The Nationals aren't going any where. His contract is up after this season.

Any Braves trade rumors floating around?

There are 2 that I have heard. They are still very much rumors at this point though.

1. The Braves brass is getting tired of Yunel Escobar's attitude and may be looking to trade him. (which would be a bad idea imo)

2. The Braves want to get an outfielder with some power and may be shopping for someone.

That's all I've heard at this point

That's been going on for about 3 years now. I don't think the Braves make any moves whatsoever. I keep hearing that they are looking at a deal for Corey Hart to play LF, but I'll believe it when I see it.

I know, and I still don't think they deal Escobar. But he asked for rumors and I gave him the biggest rumor I knew of. As far as Corey Hart goes, I doubt they do it too but I'd like it if something could be worked out.

But...can he play CF, because that is the real hole. Hinske and Diaz are just fine in left in terms of pop, Melky and Blanco are just not everyday players.

He'd have to play LF and Cox would play some combination of Blanco/Cabrera/McLouth/Infante in a CF platoon.

Doesn't seem worth giving up what Milwaukee would try to get for him.
Probably true, but the Braves are one of the few teams in MLB that could probably afford to overpay with starting pitching.
