Nothing would make me 180 on my opinion of Danny more than this. But I don’t think it’ll happen, it wouldn't fit Danny's hiring trends at all. He’s always gone for young up and coming coaches, and that’s not Mike White.

I don't think there was ever a chance, but this performance against Gonzaga will not only put a final nail in the coffin of any of that talk, but will take that nailed shut coffin full of concrete, and burry it somewhere in the Mariana Trench .

Worst opening day to watch from the bar possible. McNeese is cool but there’s no excitement anywhere.

One observation (it’s the same every observation each tournament) is that the games are being called really tight in these first weekend games. Elite 8 and Final 4 tend to be more physical games but so far, I’ve seen some ticky tack fouls called that would laughable in the SEC regular season.

What do we always say? All it takes is one poor shooting day and you’re gone. It was nice getting 14 teams in but I think Georgia and Texas were both stretches.
