The Official 2025 March Madness Discussion Thread

At this point,I think 3 of the final four will be from the sec.

Before the tournament started, I liked Michigan state over Auburn and Houston over Tennessee.

I think both Auburn and Tennessee win

I'd love to see Sparty send Pearl home, but I kinda suspect they won't have the firepower to get the job done vs Auburn. With Houston vs UT, both have tremendous defenses, but I think Houston has more offensive weapons than we do plus ours can run hot and cold, and that carries the day for the cougars. Regardless, this UT team has overachieved. Season has been a rousing success from my point of view. Playing with house money from this point on.

I may have been watching through orange colored glasses, but both UH and Purdue had more open/uncontested looks than I imagine they’d get vs UT. At least I hope….

This may be the first time I say this regarding a Barnes’ offense, but I actually think I trust our offense more than Houston. I know their efficiency is a bit higher than ours, but I think we have more weapons than they do, more options to lean on if someone is having an off game.

It seemed to me last night that Purdue got a fair amount of open shots. They just got pounded on the glass
