Honestly, I think after this year, you absolutely have to fire Willie Martinez you have to find somebody to manage that secondary and the linebackers and you either bring somebody in that can run the defense to help Tim Banks, or you just go out and get a stud defensive coordinator

I’ll admit I took the “fools gold” in thinking our defense would be better this year, but I’ll be damned as I was so wrong.
This is not SEC level and is more like southern conference

If you are Bama or Georgia and the depth they have stacked up maybe but we don’t have that luxury at this stage. Just not deep enough to cover for all the injuries and the loss of 5 offensive starters in the NFL draft from last years team. Takes longer than 2 or 3 classes to stack that kind of depth.

Part of that I agree with, and part of it is the problems of our offense. We can’t play loose as a defense in a bend-don’t-break mentality when our offense keeps putting us in crap situations. It’s not how we are built.
