That is what I saw too. Then with the replay there was no reason for them to do that. I think it was just a reaction to their coaches bad behavior.

I agree he should have questioned the ref about the calls, but not incite a riot.

Refs totally blew the dead ball plays. You have to continuously blow the whistle so players can hear it and stop! Both teams continued to play. Totally on the refs.

This crew has been garbage for a while now.

...and then letting Vandy's QB throw a punch and their wideout hit someone after the whistle AND let their coach scream at our players. Maybe they could've stopped this stuff that way too.

I didn't hear any whistles on either of the plays. What were the refs doing?

Yes. 2 plays in a row. 1st was offsides. 2nd play was delay of game. both times we hit their qb cause the refs couldn't find their whistles.

The fight was on Vandy. The late flags and whistles are on the officials. The flag on Vandy's coach is on him. Sheppard (Vandy) was shoving and throwing punches early on. Our guys aren't perfect, but the poor sportsmanship is on Vandy.

Yep. This bs never ends up well either. Vandy is always going to suck but if you get a guy hurt bc of this bs that’s on the refs for losing control.

My concern.... VOLS as a team lack discipline. I have zero confidence in how they'll respond.

Vandy lacks discipline. They ran in the field. Our players stayed on the sideline.

It was the refs fault for allowing the delay of game continue. They took their frustration from the refs out on the game and our team. We didn’t do anything wrong.

The play clock expired so it should have been blown dead long before we tackled him…and the the prev play they committed a false start so again, the refs should have blown it dead long before we hit the QB…

refs are sucking at their job…

They play was blown dead because of delay of game. Vandy probably wasn’t happy that their QB got hit.

Ah, thanks! I missed the fact the play had been blown dead. Heh. I guess I could qualify to be an SEC referee!
