Maybe just toss the ball to the official and get off the field without drawing attention to yourself with a clownish "celebration."
Show emotion all you want , genuine emotion, fist pump, hugging teammates, whatever.
Not dancing, not performing a 5-minute "handshake", not pointing at yourself or worst of all, rubbing imaginary dollar bills between your fingers to show how cool you are.
We are seeing this even in high school games now.
