Both teams expected to be at full strength?

Haven’t seen any covid news on either team so would assume so, but never know these days.

IMO this is a close matchup. If the refs are calling a lot of fouls then the Vols have to attack and try to draw fouls. FTs and foul trouble could be a big deal for the Vols. I know the refs are always friendly to UK in Rupp.

No doubt UT will play tough defense.

Could this be the game where Powell gets involved with shooting? Maybe JJ gets hot too?

Vescovi needs to continue driving the ball when he sees an opening. Take it to the rim and draw fouls. He is lights out from the FT line. Hopefully UT has some plays drawn up to get him open from 3 pt range early on. It would be nice to jump out to an early lead, like they did against AZ.

CK needs to drive it too. He can really score quickly when he does. I know he is a super talent, but he has a long way to go before he lives up to the projections. At this point he should not plan on leaving school.

Hopefully Fulkerson is back to 100% and lights is up like he did against AZ. He sounded like it in his comments yesterday.

ON needs to keep playing physical and don't worry about getting into foul trouble. He probably will either way, so give them Hell.

Uros has to get the ball and hit the layups, dunks and sky hooks as much as possible. Plus he has to really go after the rebounds hard.

ZZ just needs to be himself. He is IMO a natural leader. The other players should emulate his attitude. That would lead to more physical play, which is something the Vols have been missing early this season.

Hope I'm wrong but I just don't have a good feeling about this game. Lots of good puzzle pieces but they don't seem to be meshing together. Hope the keep working and everything comes together at tournament time. I think the Vols lose big today.

UK is a stone cold lock. Get all your losses back today. Take the kats minus 4.5 - 5 . Hate it but it is what it is. Tenn's inside game will be non existent vs uks front line. Ky by 10-15.

Praying for help guiding our shots into and through the hoops. Ditto help for those bricks too. A win would be a huge lift for the morale and spirit of the team. The Alabama and LSU losses were daggers. We coulda-shoulda won both of those games. We are who we are and we are not who we were. We are supposed to have a lot of talent and experience but, we are getting whooped on both ends of the court and beating ourselves with poor ball handling, turnovers, out rebounded, and out shot, especially free throws. All these are correctible. I believe a winning team makes their own luck and plays well enough to play through poor officiating. Play well today Vols! You can win this game. Just play well. Go Big Orange. See you around noon CST.

Yeah, very true. However, every time I think that it is the STONE COLD LOCK....some dude like Kennedy goes off and hits eight 3's and the Vols lose by four. If it was a night game, I would be more inclined to agree with you. Sometimes on a noon game, you can catch the home team before they wake up.

I should have said 'high percentage 2s'. The Vols need to get inside and make some layups, etc. and draw fouls. Get UKs bigs in foul trouble if they can.

TN needs to hang on early. Rupp will be electric on Joe B Day. TN needs to stay within about 8 by the 1st half midpoint.

Uros might play the most minutes so far this year. He’s played 15+ 5x and the most was 19 versus Bama. He could easily go 20+. Uros and ORN need to lean on Oscar and get him in foul trouble.

Just dropped by to say Kentucky sucks! That said, my mom and aunt came down and surprised us last night for the weekend. Now they're going to get stuck here for a couple of extra days because of snow 🤣.

Incredible Fulk needs to show off today. Otherwise we're probably in trouble. My grandson has a make up basketball game today and they scheduled it at one of course. So I'll be dvring this one and watching a bit late.
