The Official #22 Tennessee @ #18 Kentucky Game Thread, 1:00 PM ET, ESPN

This team is bad. The coaches look lost. Let’s look forward to the2022-23 season and all the elite recruits coming in …. Sigh

Cal outcoached the $hit out of Barnes today. Their offense in first half was excellent. It wasn’t just hot shooting. Now 2nd half it got ridiculous with Wheeler hitting 3s.

If Tennessee beats Kentucky, LSU, and Bama at home or neutral by twenty I’ll call it home advantage but, right now, we are getting schooled. Elementary schooled.

Uk is on fire so I wouldn’t think to much into this game. Playing extra hard for Joe B Hall. Tennessee has had a good team the last few years but just from the eye test it looks like they don’t have the level of talent they usually do. I bet the game In Knoxville goes a little different

If we shot like we are today against Bama, Tex Tech and LSU then we would have easily won all those games. Nothing we can do to match up against UK if their entire team is hitting everything.

If we lose by 20+ but this game gets us out of our shooting slump then I'm ok with it because it will pay dividends for upcoming games....if we can keep it up.

I'm done with ORN though. He is truly awful. BHH might be lacking effort, and it might not have clicked for him yet, but ORN isn't any better. He's soft, he has almost no rebounding prowess, and he gets bullied on defense. I know what Rick said about BHH, but I personally disagree. I WOULD rather have BHH make mistakes and grow, rather than watch ORN make those exact same mistakes and keep playing.

We’ll go .500 in conference play which will get us in. UT will beat the lowly teams and upset one higher ranked team at home to finish 10-8 in conference play. But this is definitely just a first weekend team.
Pretty sure we will lose a game or two that we shouldn’t as well. Could easily end up 8-10 in SEC
