To say that this is bad would be an understatement, of course, but it's worth keeping in mind that the lowest KenPom ranking of a team to whom Tennessee has lost is... 17.
Tennessee is far from being a great basketball team, but the games the Vols are losing are to stout competition.
Who cares. This is the level of teams we would play in the 2nd round and on in the NCAAT typically and we haven’t proven we can beat them. We’re not just losing to this level of teams, we’re getting blasted. To say that this is bad would be an understatement, of course, but it's worth keeping in mind that the lowest KenPom ranking of a team to whom Tennessee has lost is... 17.

Chandler may be one and done, but it’ll be years before he sees regular minutes in the NBA, if it happens. Nobody 6-0 tall is seeing the floor at that level without being at least one of an elite shooter or defender. He’s neither yet.
Ima be honest with you… he was better his freshman year than he is nowBigest mistake was not going and getting a BIG Man in the Portal.
Fulkerson should have been let go.
He plays like he did his Freshman year.
He has not shown up except Arizona.
I guess this is why Barnes had words for him....
Ky lead increases when he is in the game...
I hope BHH announces he’s transferring after this game….just to stick it to Barnes. He’s an idiot for not giving the kid hardly any chance. Yet he runs that lazy shot Fulky out there over and over and over and over.
He really should stay another year, but he won’t because of the money. I can’t blame him, but if he really wants to have staying power in the NBA, he needs more development.Chandler may be one and done, but it’ll be years before he sees regular minutes in the NBA, if it happens. It's getting really hard to not go full nega-Vol with a performance like this today. I didn't expect a win, but I expected us to look a lot better than this. I'm trying to be positive. I want to believe in this team. I want to think this is just a "rough patch". Some posters keep suggesting it's too early to be concerned about this team, but performances like this make me seriously question what it exactly is about this team to keep getting excited about.
We can't hold on to the Arizona win forever. We haven't played good basketball in 3 weeks. In fact, we look to be getting actively worse, not better. Where is the improvement? I honestly don't see it.
LOL!! That's not how it works for Tennessee. Have you been a fan long? We get 1 good shooting performance to balance out 5 bad ones. We just wasted our good one.If we shot like we are today against Bama, Tex Tech and LSU then we would have easily won all those games. Nothing we can do to match up against UK if their entire team is hitting everything.
If we lose by 20+ but this game gets us out of our shooting slump then I'm ok with it because it will pay dividends for upcoming games....if we can keep it up.
