Isn’t that kinda the Barnes MO though? Beat who you are supposed to beat, meh against really good teams during the season, then early exit in March.

Who cares. This is the level of teams we would play in the 2nd round and on in the NCAAT typically and we haven’t proven we can beat them. We’re not just losing to this level of teams, we’re getting blasted.

There's a difference between not have adequate talent around you vs guys that are at least decent who are at least average in certain areas.

This might start to hurt our recruiting. We are not doing real well in recruiting right now.

You know, Calipari always tries to talk up Barnes and Tennessee in the post-game when he wins, but I can't see what ridiculous praise he can concoct to explain away losing by 30+ points.

Kentucky is playing great & shooting out of this world, but this is more about us...I think Barnes can bring in talent, but they are on their own once a game begins, he doesn't every adjust...I want to know why he keeps taking Chandler out regardless of his mistakes, when James has been ki!king us on the offensive end, crazy turnovers ect, but still gets all the minutes...Love Fulky, but he had that one game & most of the rest have been terrible..He has played a lot today with 0 points & 0 rebounds, plus several turnovers..

I know I'm about to hear it but Fulk has had a few good games this season, but the last couple of games it's as if hes finally figured out what Waccy Baccy is

BHH deserves better. I’m sure sitting there and watching what we have as a post presence and this horrid offense has got to be hard.

At this point I hope we just show grit and finish this game out playing hard. Hate to say it but at best we may only win 2 out of the next 5. We shouldn’t be ranked and prepare to start hearing about us on the bubble come February.

He really should stay another year, but he won’t because of the money. I can’t blame him, but if he really wants to have staying power in the NBA, he needs more development.

What a frustrating game. It does feel like 10-8 is probably about the best we can hope for in league play.

I suspect the narrative would be a lot different if the scheduling had been different. @Alabama, @lsu, @KY to start SEC play. If the schedule were different we could have beaten some lower tier SEC teams and mixed in some top 25 losses - I think folks would "feel" different about it. It's hard to watch your team lose the games we have the past few weeks and then feel good about where we are. When we start losing to the scrubs I'll be concerned. Lots of chances ahead on the schedule to get some of the mojo back.

If we lose by 20+ but this game gets us out of our shooting slump then I'm ok with it because it will pay dividends for upcoming games....if we can keep it up.

LOL!! That's not how it works for Tennessee. Have you been a fan long? We get 1 good shooting performance to balance out 5 bad ones. We just wasted our good one.
