Interesting statistics from the UT pre game notes...............

This is Rick Barnes's 30th career game coaching against Kansas. He is 8-21 with most of those contests happening when he coached at Texas.

Bill Self leads Barnes by 7 wins overall 765 to 758.

Self hasn't been coaching as long as Barnes.

Go Vols!

I haven't watched KU play yet this year, so no idea how good they are.

UT seems to be cold from 3 lately. Hopefully they get hot tonight. With the defense playing like they do, hitting 3s consistently would surely mean UT would have a good chance of winning this one.

Tennessee this season has been terrible for threes as Shaquille O’Neal shooting free throws.

I think Phillips is going to be our most consistent offensive player on the team because he can go inside or mid. Less hot/cold streaks than Vescovi/ZZ on the 3s. I'm hoping we feed him the ball tonight and/or our PGs are on target. Our D has been great as usual. I haven't watched any KU games so I hope our bigs match up well.

The Volunteers can realistically win this game if they can make a high amount of threes which would be 60 percent or higher.
