Vegas pays out based on the score before "mop up duty" takes over?
The difference between you and I is that you are talking a points spread based on people who don't give a crap about this team's development. The reality based off of what was observed today is this team should have been up by 2 additional scores at the half so that our beloved 5 star in the wings could have gotten more reps in the 2nd quarter. Meaningful reps. If you want to keep beating the spread-drum go ahead. It only means you understand betting. Team building not so much.

That's great. Seriously. With your fandom, do you think you have the ability to have expectations to aquire greatness again?
Maybe I should have been a little more obvious like this poster?
Guess you should know putting out a challenging post that itself is WEEK. CAN’t wait for next WEAKS installment of WHIT and wisdom.

I've never placed a bet in my life, but, to anyone giving it a few seconds of thought, it's obvious that the lines have to take mop-up duty (or gamblers' expectations thereof) into consideration, because the bettors win or lose based on real final scores.

As to building a football team, I readily admit to having no meaningful understanding. If either of us did, we wouldn't be trading messages on a message board.

Overall, 45-14 is a good win. We didn't play perfectly and we still need to improve in a lot of areas, but it's been one of the 12/13 days of the year we get to watch this team. Next week is a big one. Go Vols!
Agreed. No team is perfect. Ohio state is really, really good and I believe they are about to lose to Notre Dame.. ie WINNING ON THE ROAD IS REALLY, REALLY DIFFICULT.

I don't think a lot of Vols fans innate believe that. IDK if the Nega Vols are ignorant or trolls. Losing to Florida IN The Swamp? I Not that big of a deal or some indicator that the Vols are terrible or that Milton shouldn't be a starter, because..... the Vols lost in one of THE most difficult places to play. Notice how UGA chooses to NOT play there. THAT'S how hard it is to play in the Swamp is.

GO Vols!

Florida and Georgia have played in Jacksonville every year since 1933. Minus 2 years. You have to know that
