It's the dumb, "we'll let him make a mistake" philosophy, rather than heating him up.

Chavis was notorious for the same years ago which usually allowed the qb's to gain confidence.

At least some backups are getting some work I guess. Horrible call too on what should have been a pick.

We just don’t have smart players on defense, and our defensive coaches are below average. Got dudes running full speed and hitting players without wrapping up. We just made a third string QB look like Tom Brady, which is a consistent theme for us.
