The Official #23/20 Tennessee vs. UTSA, 4:00 PM ET, SEC Network

yeah I hear that. I made another comment, but it just seems like the passing game is much more oriented around the screen game and less focused on the short game in the middle of the field. Maybe the receivers aren't running the right routes, but like digs, slants out routes? All of that stuff has mysteriously vanished from the offense this year. Idk if thats because of different personnel, QB not being able to make throws or wideouts running the wrong routes.

I think the O line woes may have something to do with them going to the screen game so much.

Milton has wanted to show off his arm several times instead of taking some of those shorter slants and digs that have been wide open so far this season too.

There are some new WR out there too so your point about wrong routes is probably part of the issue too.

After he sprinted off the field? How many times has he this year anyway. I guarantee he was told to keep it on the first play.
No I agree with you. Not sure why they don't implement it more. Maybe they're afraid of an injury and throwing Nico behind that line? Idk

NFL qb? Wow. As bad as it is physically with his passing, I think he struggles even more to process what is happening. No chance
Not at all..he will have higher level coaching...and WR who can catch his bullets...faster better players... he'll play...hell even if he if JAMarcus Russel 2.0. That still better then avg

We knew our OL would be down this year. Lack of solid recruiting. Brought in Karic and dude from Miami, but we're not very good with Ollie in.

I wonder if we should have hired someone with an extensive recruiting history as the TE coach instead of promoting someone I wouldn’t recognize in Weigels.

He took an ugly hit early the kind that for most people not his size would probably tear some ligaments. I highly doubt he’s not playing through an injury right now. His accuracy this half would suggest that.
I'd say he's a little bit limited. It was his planting leg to if I'm not mistaken

Our coach has schemed up 3 or 4 wide open TD's. We all watch lots of football but our coach seems to get guys wide open. It's the QB job to cash that ticket. Even 50% completion on house calls and this game is 52-14.
I do not want Nico to start, at all. I want Joe to hit the open guys. That is what Hooker excelled at
On at least two of those the receiver hand two hands on the ball where only he could. One yard shorter and INTs are in play.

I bet you’re wearing a Jarret Guarantano jersey right now.
BTW, you get hit on the head? I don't remember seeing Guarantano at the stadium today. It must be so hard to be so miserable. It is much nicer being able to enjoy life.

Still not convinced on Joe so far. He doesn’t read the field well at all. So talented but it seems the game is too fast for him.

I don't think he's the right QB for Heupel's system. Milton seems to be more of a drop-back pocket guy.

He needs to be able to sit there and make reads down field. That gives the WRs time to get to how far he can throw the ball. It also takes a really good OL to make that work and TN doesn't seem to have that right now.
