The Official #24 Tennessee @ Vanderbilt Game Thread, 9:00 PM ET, SEC Network

Why in God's name do we stand there and wait on a freaking trap!
That’s uhhh kinda how you beat a full court trap, unless you can get the ball to the middle. Let them come to you, make a composed pass out, then you have numbers or the option to reset in halfcourt.

I think a big part of our struggles offensively are that we have 2 freshmen guards leading the show. If they play well, we usually play pretty well offensively. If they don’t we usually look pretty bad.

The key to the season is getting chandler trending up as the season goes on. We look completely different when he’s playing well.

In March, who knows what a stout defense could give. I have never seen such a talented team literally have each game be a toss up based on production lol

I usually convince myself that stringing together four consecutive tourney wins isn't outlandish, frankly it's more insane that Tennessee has never done it before, but the only time they've done it this season involved Presbyterian who I'm pretty sure won't be on the menu come March.

Still, I agree with you that this team's defense could easily take them to the second weekend if they don't lose any bad games in the next two months.

You’re absolutely right. It’s a catch 22. We shot lights out at KY and lost by 30. Defense will keep us in any game we play. March will be interesting- as always, will be based on matchup.
