Dusk at Neyland as kittens come hissing, ready for a flight.
No match for ole Smoky, he trees them in flight.
As the clock winds downward , Crockett fires the final shot.
Blue clad kitties, declawed and quiet, winners they are not.

I will fully admit that I suffer from battered Vol fan syndrome after the last fifteen years. I realize that the team and coaches are thankfully a different breed than what we had during those rough times but I am concerned about this game. In the past, this is the perfect game for one of those patented "wtf how did we lose" games. I know, I know, I am being silly but the scars from the past are still with me.
Man, big game, Saturday night, national audience, 100,000 fans, everything on the line, fireworks on every score! Its finally football season again after 15 years! Thanks to all involved.
Posted this on another thread. Thought it would be a good stat to post here.—— Saw an interesting stat just now that I had forgotten. People keep talking about KY “controlling” time of possession with their running game and keeping the UT offense off the field. In last year’s game, KY time of possession was 46 minutes out of 60 and we still put up 45 points in 14 minutes. Our offense and defense are both better this year. And the defense has been pretty good this year about stopping the run which is KY’s strength. Just don’t see KY being able to keep up on the scoreboard unless we have a bunch of turnovers. Thoughts?
