And beat Georgia 2 of 3 at their place. Georgia then beats Vandy in Nashville last weekend 2 of 3. It’s the SEC, all of the teams are good and can win on any given night.

Tonight, Vandy has squared up about 5 balls and 2 were homeruns. We squared up about the same, 2 caught at the warning track and 3 right at them. Again, it’s baseball.

I suffered through the lean years in Houston with the Astros. Learned plenty about the minor leagues watching prospects and draft picks. Have a similar feeling about Tony and building a winning culture and putting together his team. It reminds me of watching Luhnow and Hinch and understanding there was definitely a plan in place.

I suffered through the Lastros too. Nolan Ryan building the farm teams was a big part of the success.

Defense was bad tonight.
Offensively we battled, just didn’t hit it where they weren’t. All SEC teams will take 8ks against Rocker in 7 innings. Rocker didn’t dominate our hitters especially considering he had 12ks in 6 innings multiple times this year.
If we only strike out 8 times against Leiter in 7 innings, we have a chance.
